1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using QRcraft ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

2. Description of Service

QRcraft is a free, web-based QR code generator that allows users to create static QR codes for the following content types:

  • Website URLs
  • WhatsApp direct message links
  • UPI payment links
  • WiFi network credentials
  • Plain text

Generated QR codes can be downloaded in PNG and SVG formats. The Service is provided free of charge and does not require account registration for basic use.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use QRcraft to:

  • Generate QR codes that link to illegal, harmful, or malicious content
  • Create QR codes for phishing, fraud, scams, or impersonation
  • Distribute spam or unsolicited content via QR codes
  • Generate QR codes containing malware, viruses, or other harmful software
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service in a manner that degrades performance for other users

We reserve the right to block access to the Service for any user who violates these acceptable use guidelines.

4. Intellectual Property

Your QR codes: You retain full ownership of the QR codes you generate using QRcraft. You are free to use, distribute, print, and modify your QR codes for any legal purpose, including commercial use. No attribution to QRcraft is required.

Our content: The QRcraft name, logo, website design, code, and all associated content are the property of QRcraft and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our website content, design, or branding without prior written permission.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the scannability or functionality of generated QR codes across all devices and scanning applications.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QRcraft and its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
  • Business interruption
  • Cost of substitute services
  • Any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, which, given the Service is free, is zero.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QRcraft and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property rights.

8. Third-Party Services

QRcraft uses the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: For database hosting (waitlist and contact form data)
  • Google AdSense: For displaying advertisements
  • Vercel: For website hosting and deployment

These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

9. Copyright and DMCA

If you believe that content generated through or hosted on QRcraft infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our contact email with the following information:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • A description of where the infringing content is located on our Service
  • Your contact information (name, address, email, phone)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate
  • Your physical or electronic signature

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
